Global Talent Search news

A huge congratulations to the top 50 through to round 2. There are some absolutely stunning entries and I am pleased to see a few of my fellow bootcampers have gotten through.
Sadly I missed the mark again this year but my work is still available to see in the GTS gallery.

2014 Global Talent Search

I love the Global Talent Search. I entered last year and even though I was a bit indecisive this year (pesky self doubt), with encouragement from my fellow bootcampers I have taken the plunge.
Who could say no to the chance of Lilla Rogers being your Agent.
All I will say is that the theme is based on Little Terrarium.
Out came the canvas and acrylic, I started two but abandoned one to let the other flow. I had no idea what I was really aiming for to begin with but when I had the base image I found myself adding a bit more everyday until I was happy with the outcome.

I have submitted my entry and look forward to seeing what others have created. Good Luck to everyone.

Summer School

I am always on the look out for new projects to bump my portfolio and broaden my design skills so I signed up for Make it in Design Summer school. We have the option of three great briefs, beginner, intermediate and advanced to follow and the chance to submit to the online gallery.
This month has been a little busy as it is school holiday season and I struggle to get decent internet connection (if any) when we head off camping.
I managed to complete the beginner brief which is based on the theme: Tropical Paradise
