Bootcamp Feb Assignment

This is my submission for the Lilla Rogers - Mats Assignment Bootcamp Feb 2014 : Cell Phone Cover for the Gift Market.

I am really pleased with the outcome.

It's making me Cuckoo

I am really enjoying the MATS Bootcamp and the community behind it. Everyone is supportive of each other and the group has a great vibe.
Here are some more character sketches, this time concentrating on the cuckoo itself.

 

Cuckoo Clocks

Februarys assignment is based on cuckoo clocks and everything related to them. The idea is to draw and create and loosen up.

 

I started by doodling some of the traditional type cuckoo clocks you might see and then decided to look at some of the characters I could add later on.

I'm going to Bootcamp!

So I have decided that once again I need to jump in at the deep end and I have enrolled on the Make Art That Sells: Assignment Bootcamp. I really enjoyed entering the 2013 Global Talent Search and although I only got to submit to the first round, it was a great piece to add to my body of work. The winning designs were excellent and the standards were so high.

    The class is a collaboration between Lilla Rogers Studio and Beth Kempton of Do What You Love
